Kelmac Aviation is a family owned and operated aircraft sales, maintenance and flight training facility located in Geraldton.
Geoffrey McDougall has over thirty years experience flying both Military and civilian aircraft in Australia and overseas. He started with his Student Pilots license when he was sixteen and after completing a Fitting and Turning Apprenticeship he decided to pursue his love of flying and make it his career. He spent thirteen years in the Royal Australian Air Force during which time he flew the CT-4 Trainer, Macchi, Caribou, PC-9, and F/A-18. He qualified as a Military Flying Instructor in 1990 and has taught at 2FTS, 25 Squadron, 79 Squadron and Central Flying School. After leaving the RAAF he worked overseas for eight years for British Aerospace instructing on the PC-9 in a military environment. He has over 4700 military flying hours and 2300 instructional hours. He is currently a member of the Royal Australian Air Force Active Reserve, working for 79 Squadron as a Flying Instructor on the Hawk Light Intro Fighter.
During his time with the Air Force Geoffrey continued to fly civilian aircraft and has the following endorsements and certifications: Command IFR Rating, Twin Endorsement, Retractable Undercarriage, Formation, Low Level Aerobatic and Tail Wheel Endorsement. He holds a current commercial Pilots License and is a member of RA-Aus. He holds an RA-Aus CFI Instructor rating and is in the process of upgrading his CASA Instructor rating to Grade 1.
Carla McDougall also has a military background and has extensive experience in office administration. |
